Fatigue and Depression after Stopping Birth Control

I just stopped my birth control recently and almost immediately I started feeling intense fatigue and depression. I'm on thyroid meds, but I was under the impression that HBC dampened the effects of levothyroxine? If anything I should be balancing out more/feeling more anxious or agitated, right? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm also not having periods. 😅🙃

      @kittycrime I hope you do check out the T3 or the natural thyroid is an option. I felt so much better after I gradually switched from the Levothyroxine.

      As I wrote above try to get on some Cytomel, it comes in generic too or add in some natural dessicated thryroid like Armour. I never had regular periods on Levothyroxine alone. I switched to Armour and became regular. Armour has microcrystalline cellulose in it now though and T3 may work better cause the microcrystalline cellulose reduces absorption

        @BuffaloGal That's so strange! I'll have to look these up, and suggest them to my mom, too. She has Hashimoto's as well, but she has the opposite problem I do: long, heavy, painful periods 😅🙃

      I'm willing to bet you have PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS first, then thyroiditis, but my doctors tell me it must have been the thyroiditis that caused the PCOS. I haven't had a period in years. My obgyn was able to diagnose it with an ultrasound.

        @seppytem T3 is prob what you need or add in some Armour thyroid to the Levothyroxine. I only started periods after adding T3. Lookup "T4 to T3 conversion"

        @seppytem That's what I thought, too, but all my ultrasounds came back normal. My mom thought it might be PCOS, too
