So i have a job interview next week and it pays a lot more than my current one and would just be a massive step up but i cant stop thinking im going to mess up or theyre going to fire me and a part of me wants to withdraw my application. Does anyone have any tips for ignoring these thoughts or just making them manageable?

If you don’t try you’ll never know!! Don’t withdraw your application
All you can do is your best! I recommend doing your research. Read articles. Watch YouTube videos on how to thrive in that particular role. No one expects you to be 100% in your first few weeks. People have to get the hang of it before the ball starts rolling. The worst thing you can do to yourself is be your worst enemy. Trust me, I struggle with it as well so I know from first hand. You have the power to make a situation a beautiful or scary place. If you want in to go well, do your research, focus on your confidence in yourself and start believing you CAN. And you know what? If you fail, that’s ok! There are PLENTY of jobs out there. Sometimes you have to make a few mistakes in life in order to learn. You will get there.
