For me I had an iud before my diagnosis of endometriosis. I had a lylleta to mange my pcos and loved it for over a year. After my pain got worse we thought the iud was rejecting and had it removed. I had an endometriosis diagnosis after that and have been on Depo since

patience is important with iuds or for that matter any treatment of endo. I had horrendous cramping and kept getting bad periods for about 3 months before the IUD seemed to actually start doing its job. Your body needs time to adjust to the major changes in hormones and also physically having a device up there. I had a mirena put in during my laparoscopy back in January 2020 and now am living very close to a normal life—the only thing that I still have been struggling with is cysts but that’s another issue. I’d say wait a few months and go back to your prescribing doc if it gets worse or doesn’t get any better
@Spooxk It’s important to remember as much as it sucks this condition isn’t ever going to have a magic/fast cure as it’s a really stubborn disease that pretty much does whatever the hell it wants. I tell a lot of people this. It’s easy to get frustrated especially since it probably took you a long time just to get diagnosed/treated—been there! Best of luck to you, remember you’re not alone in this I know it’s frustrating and defeating and annoying and unfair. We’re all in this with ya.
If it's only gotten worse for you then you should talk to your doctor immediately and look at getting it removed. I know many who have tried the iud and it has mixed results, it really depends on the person. For some people it helps alot and for others it causes more harm than any good. For me it also cause more pain and I got it removed as soon as I could, I instead continue on the depo provera shots which help me the most. You really just have to find what works best for you.

It helped me and my friend, but I know a lot of people that it didn't work for :( I'm so sorry the pain is worse 😥
