I'm curious, hasanyone else grown up in around similar people I did, spacificly in family. My life was filled with people who wouldn't do jack shit for me, abused me, and disrespect me but the second I don't do something that benifits them, they would call me mean. I.E. giving them money from my paychecks for frivolous items, setting any boundary, or refusing to do anything that would benifit them and most cases hurt me. This has made me very hyper apologetic and made me afraid to say "no" in fear of a bad/the worst reaction from them. This is something I'm trying to work through with both myself and therapist but every method I try to cope with this dosent work for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help his feeling.

I'd start with little boundaries, with people you trust, even if it's voicing something that they already respect
