I lost my mom 10 yrs and I still have difficulty missing her. There are days where all I want is a big warm hug from her. Where tears still fall from missing her. But then remember I'm not alone and I can usually talk out with my partners. A little bit comfort food, a good movie, and squishy stuffed animal help a bit. But it just takes time for the pain to lessen. Just one day at a time, one step at a time. There is always light at the end of the dark tunnel.

I lost my mom in September, it’s almost been a year. I’m still struggling pretty heavy too, if you want to talk about it you can message me. Anyway grief comes and goes, sometimes it hits extra hard. Until it’s not so heavy, try being extra kind to yourself and do things you like. Do little things that help you feel close with your mom. I like to wear her favorite color when I’m feeling low. I write her letters. I cry really really hard. Because it’s sad losing your mom and it’s ok to not be ok.
Baby steps. Rome wasn't built over night and rebuilding yourself doesn't have to either. Add positive activities to your day. Listening to music, going for walks..etc.
