Struggling with Hypersomnia Episodes for a Decade

Well after a decade of struggling with odd hypersomnia episodes, I’ve finally been referred to a better specialist (because my local sleep clinic doesn’t have enough resources) to explore a KLS diagnosis. I’ve already ruled out sleep apnea but idk what else to expect from here on out. I’ve been met with so much invalidation, skepticism, even ridicule. I’m scared that this next doctor will think I’m making it up also.
