My Mother is Making My Life Miserable

when my mom behaves similarly we're pretty sure it's ocd, honestly. doesn't excuse it or make it not bother people but i do understand that it's her way of compulsively trying to cope with stress by projecting the stress onto things she can try to control and "fix" through others. since she's not doing anything about it though, i try to use that understanding to my advantage to minimize how much of an issue it becomes for me.
