does anyone out there use a wheelchair, and if so do you recommend it? my condition is fairly mild so I would only use it when I know I will be walking a lot that day (shopping, fairs, ect)

I use a walker that doubles as a wheelchair so that I can walk if I’m feeling up to it but always have a place to sit if I have to wait in a line or something. I’ve also found that I can pull myself along in it with my feet from a sitting position, which might look kind of silly, but it helps so much to not be completely upright. Or if I want to go to the zoo or something like that, a friend or my partner can push me around so I don’t get completely exhausted immediately. It gives me the ability to participate in my life; I’d highly recommend it
I use a wheelchair when I leave the house and I love it. I really wish I had gotten it sooner. I also have a cane for shorter trips. If you want one then get it, don’t worry about what other people think :)
