I feel my disease progress and I’m needing more help then normal. Which is very hard for me. I also work full time and know that it’s coming to where I’m not going to be able to work. So what’s next?

I went from running a business with my husband, working at a farm supply store as a part time manager and teaching gymnastics five hours a week- for a total of around 60 hours a week. About two years ago I started really slowing down and getting sicker and sicker. I had to quit everything all at once and I’ve been out of work since May of 2021. I’m going to apply for disability and get a lawyer because you have a much better chance of getting approved.

My disease started progressing as well. I will be unemployed as of the 9.30.22. My plan is to work on me. Ride a stationary bike daily and do my PT. But it is scary to think I m no longer working ever again. I m still trying to figure what is next for me.

Those are all good ideas. Steroids can do wonders for flares. If you are still progressing maybe change meds

Can I ask what kind of work do you do? If it physical maybe look for a remote position. I encourage you to inquire with your Neurologist if they have an occupation therapist that can help you navigate your challenges. Wishing you all the best.

You might be able to apply for disability
