Hello, I have a question related to symptoms that have been progressing over the past few months. (If I were to guess I’d say it started a year ago but started to progress 5 months ago?) I used to be someone who would never get headaches, almost never get carsick and NEVER get vertigo. These past few months I’ve started having headaches multiple times a week, I’ve experienced vertigo far more often and even being the one driving gets me dizzy & carsick. I know I need to speak with my doctor about it, but I’m currently paying off my last expensive doctors bill so I need to wait till I can afford another one. These symptoms are pretty vague too but, have you every had symptoms like this or know what it could be?

@Medical_1234 Doctors are the worst with mental health issues sometimes :( as a therapist I can tell you that even if the anxiety is suspected rather than formally diagnosed it still “counts” as a symptom you’re experiencing. A professional would just be able to diagnose you with a specific type of anxiety disorder and offer different kinds of treatment. Mental health issues and thyroid malfunction are really commonly seen together, though. I hope that you get some answers and relief soon! The best person to see for that (and your PCOS too if you haven’t already) is an endocrinologist, but if you don’t have one already you may have to ask your primary care doctor for a referral (at least in the US).

      Anemia or iron deficiency?

Have you had your thyroid levels checked? I’m not a doctor but the dizziness in particular coupled with an autoimmune disease, anxiety, and PCOS is raising that flag for me

@VeggieSandwichQueen after more research Into symptoms of thyroid issues I think I’ll have to make an appointment, fatigue & sensitivity to heat have also been issues of mine that have just been getting worse. (I’d say weight gain too but I’ve always just gained weight and could never lose it)

@VeggieSandwichQueen no I don’t think I have. Would it matter if I’ve never had my anxiety diagnosed? I’m 110% sure I have anxiety, but when I brought it up to my doctor they shrugged it off… so I’ve never been officially “diagnosed”
