This is a little embarrassing but... This is something I have been dealing with since I started puberty and I noticed has been linked to PCOS. I am STRUGGLING with B.O., especially in the armpit area. I have been through so many antiperspirants and soaps both made for men and women and The BO breaks through all very quickly. Does anyone else deal with this? If so what's your method to treat it? P.S I use Old Spice and it works the longest but I live in a tropical area where it's hot often so every time I sweat it breaks through quicker than usual. 😭

if you can afford it or can get insurance to cover it, i’ve heard you can get botox in your armpits and it paralyzes the sweat glands and is supposed to help with b.o. i’ve always had an issue with that and excessive sweating so i understand. might be worth looking into for you!

Try washing with Hibiclens! It works miracles. It's usually used before a surgery, but it kills any germs and is a great antiseptic wash. It even helps with acne! It's a miracle wash. And affordable!

Things that help me A LOT - chlorophyll supplements - wash with a benzoyl peroxide wash on your underarms (I do my feet too). Let it sit for a min before rinsing off
Oh my goodness until I read this I thought it was just me 😭 I find myself carrying extra deodorant to re-apply throughout the day.
@Medical_1234 You're definitely not alone I do too 😭

have you tried Lumi deodorant? i’ve had the same issue but they work great for me
@Swagmantha I have tried Lumē and unfortunately still have that issue 😭
@vndesirable I'm definitely going to look into that. I hope to god my insurance can cover it!! 🤞🏼 Thank you!
You are not alone I have been dealing with this for years. My smell is sort of like a fish and it is aweful. I use dove body wash for my normal wash then I go over my extra smelly spots with fungicare antifungal wash. I used to use a pcos wash but it stopped working so I tried this one even though its use is for somthing else. Its been working for a year. Lastly secret clinical strength deodorant. The deodorant used to work on its own to block the smell but no longer does for me but others do not even block a tiny bit so it is the best so far

@monkey1 I haven't tried that before. Thanks for the suggestion! Also, my smell is more akin to an onion and it sticks to my clothes sometimes it's so annoying!! 😭
Ever since my PCOS and endo have gotten worse I've been dealing with this same issue. Hormones are no joke. I use Dove aluminum free cucumber deodorant, Dove body wash and a body spray from target. I get compliments on smelling good but if I'm not wearing them I get bad BO
@Triniti_a I have tried the Dove cucumber deodorant before. It does smell very nice but unfortunately, I break through that as well. 😔

One user suggested that diet could be causing fluctuations in body odor and recommended trying an armpit detox soap or using apple cider vinegar. They mentioned that Mega Babe makes a good armpit detox soap, and for apple cider vinegar, you can wipe it on, let it sit for a minute, and then wash off in the shower. Another user with PCOS also experienced similar issues and found relief by controlling hormones with birth control.
