I have been off of lamotrigine for over a week now. when I look up the withdrawals symptoms and I am pretty sure that I am going through all of them. and how long they last. does it really take two weeks for it to be completely out of your system? I feel like I am literally dieing in more ways than one. I was on 200 mg for about 4 months.

Man I should have listened to my ex (we are still good friends). She thought I should do it .25 at a time each week. I really hope it won't take 6 months. This med has been putting me through hell since January. 😩

Mine told me it would take 6 months to fully tamper off Lamictal safely and have little to no withdrawals I had to do the same when I found out I was pregnant
It's bad. That is one of those meds you want to SLOWLY wean off of to avoid the withdrawals... hope the withdrawal symptoms ease SOON!
@I.am.a.PINK my doctor had me taper down 50% each week.
@tig21 guess it could be just the differences in our bodies reactions to the med too
@tig21 oh, mine had me drop 50mg a week for 3 weeks then 50mg every other day for 2 weeks...
