I have such a hard time accepting that nothing means anything. I truly believe everything means something. maybe its harder to accept that everything means something but we may never know what that something is.

      My wife likes to overthink stuff as well. It was very difficult for me to convince her that I wasn't playing mind games with her, that there weren't hidden meanings in what I was saying.

      I don’t think it’s true that nothing means anything! Giving your life meaning makes it worth living in my opinion, the issue comes about when you keep giving things negative meanings as it results in suffering. There is this great essay by Massimo Leone called ‘on insignificance’ which relates to this idea that nothing matters that’s been popularised by the media recently. If ur not into reading essays this YouTuber called oliSUNvia did a great video talking abt the topic and using that essay, her videos called ‘finding purpose in our insignificant existence’ I rly recommend.
