      I haven't had one in 7 years. I don't believe I'm epileptic. I had several In my coma. but I haven't been awake for one until then ever besides the one I just had. I don't drink,ever anymore. I'm on a caloric restriction diet.

        @pappy19 not to argue or cause any controversy or anything but I do believe that having recurring seizures, conscious or not, is technically qualified as epilepsy and I could almost guarantee a doctor would diagnose you as epileptic; especially if your seizures are convulsive.

      Only other thing I can recommend then is sticking to your med schedule, keep up with your rest, get healthy exercise but don't push yourself, EAT HEALTHY (I had to learn that one the hard way), and avoid alcohol. Otherwise there's a slight chance you may have what's known as drug resistant epilepsy; this is what I'm going through myself and after switching through about 4 or 5 different medications I brought up a little implant called the RNS device to my neurologist and so now I'm scheduled this month for a WADA test and then we'll be discussing the surgery plan from there to get the device implanted. I've done a lot of research on it and seen nothing but positive reviews, some people have even overcome their epilepsy entirely and gotten back to their pre-epileptic lives almost completely forgetting they were ever epileptic in the first place so this is an implant I'm extremely optimistic about and if it really does help the way it says it's supposed to then I would recommend it to just about anyone suffering from seizures they can't control.

          @pappy19 are your meds helping at all?

        @BrandonSay Unrelated to the melatonin

      I hear melatonin has negative effects in the long run, in regards to your body's sleep cycle; it tends to create a bit of a dependence in the brain that starts to make it difficult to sleep after using melatonin for so long and then eventually getting off of it

      Are there any other medications your doctor has tried you on?
