I'm new to gastroparesis as well I've been mainly eating soups and I'm also wanting to get some papaya pills because it's supposed to naturally help with digestion. I also use probiotic gummies.

Trying to go for more of a liquid/puréed diet has helped a lot of ppl. I’ve been on erythromycin, reglan, buspirone, prucalopride, and have gotten pyloric botox. Very very low fiber, very low fat. Ginger helps with nausea. Heating pad on stomach for pain and bloating.

Reglan is a smooth muscle stimulant that can be used to help speed digestion. Maybe ask your dr abt the possibility of trying that out. Also the best thing to do is start with a very restricted diet, then slowly introduce one new food at a time. That’s how u can learn your triggers best. High fat content and lots of insoluble fiber should be avoided!

@Sarahtiva reglan made me even sicker. The first 2 or 3 days were fine then I started having all kinds of issues. Doctor said it can work for some people but it's also a risky medication and can be hard on some people.
