I'm constantly running late for work regardless if I'm ready for work early or not so much so that it recently cost me my job. An Unexcused mental health day also hindered me & added 3 points to the already points I had I kept being late & lost my job yesterday. I know I have to hurry up and get a job fast so my car payment & insurance doesn't lapse I was @ my place of employment for almost a year Wish I didn't always have time management issues I've by friends and family that maybe I'm ADHD or have OCD or LAZY

To me 5 minutes late is on time. Is that what got you fired?? What kind of job.

sounds like ADHD tbh. everyone I know with ADHD struggles with time management. pretty sure the only reason my mom and partner haven't been fired from their respective jobs ever is because they're both damn good at what they do and even if they're a little late, they still show up and that's more important to their employers than being exactly on time. my partner is apparently so good at his job that he scored the highest in the American branch of the company on his performance evaluation and he was given a 5/5 for punctuality despite always being 5-10 minutes late for work šŸ˜… definitely find a job you're either so good at it's worth putting up with a little tardiness, or find a boss who views start times as more of a general guideline and understands the importance of mental health over precise punctuality

I have ADHD and OCD. I have been late everyday since grade school snd have lost a job because of it too. I'm so sorry that happened to you. šŸ˜„ I can relate. Get a work from home job! That is what I have done. And its a godsend for people who ate cronically late such ads myself. There is a huge number of diverse jobs you can do working from from home. I work in a call center for the state helping people with licensing and tax questions. I love it! Its so interesting. Another one is transcribing. Best of luck. I hope this turns out to be a positive for you like it was for me. Getting fired really opened the doors for me after working there 6 years.

Sorry to hear you lost your job. This is definitely a common ADHD trait. Itā€™s because we procrastinate until the last minute when we finally get a kick of adrenaline to get us going. I try to leave early and reward myself with a coffee to give my brain happy chemicals to get going.
