Best way to track symptoms? I am in the process of diagnosis for new symptoms and unexplained health issues. I already have a handful of known medical issues, so I know the process, but I always struggle to recall my symptoms when I go to an appointment. I've kind of been jotting things down in my notes app every once in a while, but I always forget to keep track of the stuff I need to. I'm supposed to be keeping a food and symptom log, but I rarely remember. do you find a specific guided journal helpful? an app? a blank notebook? not sure how to go about this

I've been keeping a Google Docs log of symptoms for months, just listing symptoms with their dates to gauge the frequency of symptoms to show my internist. But I've also started tracking symptoms along with my daily resting heart rate with the Visible app. I'm not sure how useful it is yet, but it has the benefit of generating graphs over time, too.

I do empty notebook. For symptoms you can make a category for date, duration, location of pain, type of pain, and pain scale rating. For food, you can put date, time, what you ate, and symptoms
