Hi all! I have never really paid much attention to my vitiligo. However in the past year, my condition has grew. I'm developing more and more spots. Is there a professional I should be seeing regular for vitiligo? As a child it was sort of brushed off so I was never assigned to anyone specifically for it. Quite honestly- my doctor gave me foot cream when I was six years old, called it good, and never addressed it again. I didn't even know that vitiligo was an autoimmune disease until a year ago.

Hi Straw! They have laser treatment for that, but it doesn’t work for everyone maybe you should try that to see if it will work for you.

Need to take Vitamin D. Best in liquid form.

@Rolowe1313 Hi! Does the Vitamin D help a little?

@Rachelle16 Vitamin D is the best thing anyone can do for an autimmune disease. I started taking 50,000 iu 2x week for a different autoimmune issue and my 20 year old vitiligo spots started to get pigment again.

I've had the same issue. I have both vitiligo and psoriasis and they kind of work together. First the psoriasis strikes, then the vitiligo. I have a giant white spot that takes up half of my right forearm. I didn't even know I had vitiligo until I was diagnosed with it last year tbh.

If anything you need to see an immunologist, people tend to go to dermatologist !!!!
