Hello currently hiding in the bathroom at my work place trying to calm down. I’ve been in the process of transitioning for about two years now and overtime the misgendering and looks and comments have gotten to me. Been called maam and miss three times already and can’t handle it. Any advice?

Of course! One step every day.

Genuinely I thank you for this, really needed to hear that from someone else who understands. I’m glad your journey got easier and I hope to take this advice into my experience :)

I’m sorry that you’re having to go through that, I know how incredibly painful it can be. The only advice I can give is that one day it will all be over. I found keeping a list of steps I was taking to further my transition was super helpful. It gave me goals and perspective that, no matter how small, I was moving forward. Just general things to boost my self confidence were helpful as well. Working out, getting masculine clothes, etc. I found the more I was confident in myself, the less it hurt. 10 years later, misgendering by religious relatives does not bother me one bit. 1. They look absolutely ridiculous doing it. 2. I know exactly who I am, I’ve work too hard not to. Hope this helps.
