i’m to the point where the physical symptoms of my anxiety annoy me more than anything, i normally get palpitations and other heart related symptoms. it’s like i dissociate during anxiety episodes. what are some things you guys have done to help calm you down when your hearts doing weird stuff? i’ve done breathing exercises but i noticed it only helps for like 10 seconds. (i’ve seen a cardiologist, she reassured me that my symptoms are purely anxiety and that my heart is extremely healthy)

i put my hand on my heart and focus on slowing down. i like to go to a bathroom or just some place i can be alone for a second. i also reassure myself that my heart is healthy and it always slows down it just might take a minute.

When my heart starts going due to the anxiety and I can't sit still or think still. I have to leave the area I am in. I through in my headphones and hop on my scooter. It helps while on the scooter just have to stay on it long enough to forget about my anxiety. HOPE IT HELPS YOUR JOURNEY.❤️

I had this problem for years until I just started taking omega 3's!! Worked fast and I haven't had a palpitation do since I started! I still have anxiety and panic disorder... I just don't get palpitations anymore.

I recently started tapping. I’m on my healing journey still, but I’ve noticed this makes a difference for me. I also just purchased touch point devices that alternate vibrations between both hands. I just received them so about to out them to work.

I recommend vagal maneuvers! I would consult with your doctor first to make sure it's a good idea for you. But basically, there is a nerve called the vagus nerve that when stimulated can alleviate palpitations. I have supraventricular tachycardia and my cardiologist recommended this in addition to the medicine I take.

I know exactly where your coming from, ive had the same situation for a while. The best thing I've found to do is find some way to distract myself. Turn on a favorite show, listen to music, or talk to somebody. Speaking of which always feel free to dm me if you need someone to talk to about anything!
