Dealing with Ageist Comments

I so can relate i look fine on outside but im trapped inside a body full of pain for life 24/7 365 and people are judgmental especially family until they have a painful event in their lives . Even then they normally progress and its over having a constant chronic illness or illnesses robs you, betrays you and controls your life in ways others cannot phantom. I found this app due to past almost 2 wks I've not left my apartment. Trying to get meds calibrated as well as had bad flare-up with fibromyalgia. On top of it all im still grieving my Dad who passed Feb 27th 2 days after my 53rd bday. Its been a very hard year mentally and physically so thankful to have the app im definitely going to share it with my fellow USN veterans and more. My saga continues insomnia is draining me lets hope I get few hours rest before next rounds of meds...

i’ve always been p much made fun of by my own family for any kind of pain i was in. they would drill into me that i have low pain tolerance? even tho they aren’t the ones experiencing the pain?? and got called a wuss etc bunch of times. still happens even when i’m making conversation like “oh my head hurts rn” i get shut down :/
