Lyrica causing adverse reactions

I tried Lyrica to manage pain, but after 3 doses I started having adverse reactions (blurred vision, headaches,eye pain). It has been a week since I stopped taking it, but I am still physically struggling with the effects of it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

      How many mgs did you take? Maybe see if there's a lower dose? I take 50mgs 3xa day. I've not had those reactions from the lyrica but I did from the gabapentin. But I was on a very high dose of the gabapentin, I was ok in the beginning but they kept upping my dosage. I hope your feeling better and got the problem solved...

        @JinMar thank you so much! I only took 50mg. I’m finally recovered. I’m suppose to try 100 mg of gabapentin daily, but I don’t think its a good Idea after the effects of the lyrica.

      No, and I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. Drink lots of fluid and dry to do a detox of your body by juicing veggies and some fruits. It should help you recover.

        @Anonymous100 thank you! I’m finally feeling almost back to my regular self. I’m kind of reluctant to try new pain meds now though.
