one thing that often comes to mind when thinking about my conditions and the future is pregnancy and childbirth. I have so many questions and i’m terrified but i do want kids in the future. For example how will pregnancy affect my M.E and POTS? will they get better? worse? will these effects last after pregnancy and will it affect the way i will be able to look after my baby? I also have awful emetophobia so i am terrified of morning sickness, as well as when my child would get sick as they get bigger and how i would cope with that. And the lack of sleep?! how will that affect my M.E? To those of you who have M.E and POTS and are okay with sharing- how was your pregnancy and birth experience? Did vaginal birth completely wipe you out and make your heart rate go too high and make you be in lots of muscle pain afterwards? Did you have an elective c section to combat this? and as a result did you have an easier recovery?? I would love to know! ❤️

I don't have any children yet so I can't give any advice, but I relate to your worry and anxiety about it all. You're not alone ❤️ my cardiologist did tell me that when I get pregnant my POTS symptoms may get better temporarily or permanently after delivery
