Looking in the mirror every morning and giving yourself three compliments ๐Ÿ™‚

YouTube lame, free self affirmation stuff. It feels cheap and cheesy at first but keep repeating it to yourself and it becomes comforting and helpful.

Regardless I admire you for reaching out for advice

Okay okay so this won't work for everyone but I used to make jokes about how I was the greatest when I had incredibly low self esteem, but as time went on when I said I was gorgeous as a joke I started to believe it. However, I would keep these jokes to your inner circle if you have one.

@luminary lol i used to do this kinda. When someone says "you look great" or "you did good" I will be like "yes I am the best" or "I am a supermodel" or something rediculous. It really does give you the glow of confidence

Make note of when you do something positive. Even if it seems silly or expected. Congratulate yourself on getting up in the morning, on brushing your teeth, on eating, on talking to someone, on leaving the house, etc etc etc Recognize that you are doing amazing even though you are facing such difficulties.

If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend the app called "I am". You can personalize sayings on your home-screen through widgets! Basically motivation 24/7 to your liking. The app has really helped me a lot with finding my worth in this world. Hope this helps! Stay well ๐Ÿ’•

A Journal. Write down positive "I am" statements, any good thoughts or feelings you may have or have experienced recently. Even the really little things. Like having a cat. You can write about that. Or seeing a flower. Even just breathing a really nice breath. Write about it. How it makes you feel. When you make a positive attitude routine it will eventually boost your self esteem. I know it sounds crazy but it helped me.

Another thing is making sure you celebrate the small victories. If you have 5 things to do and manage to do the dishes, that is still one task out of the way. If you are so depressed you don't even want to exist in the morning, be proud of yourself when you stand up out of bed, because you still managed to live (even if its only to get up to go to the bathroom or get something in your belly ๐Ÿ˜…) And always try to make sure to drink water throughout the day to stay somewhat hydrated.

I wrote a bunch of things on sticky notes such as "I am loved" "I am deserving" and "I am not a burden" and put them next to a spot that I would see everyday
