I would have to say art and music. I love to draw and I can definitely shut down everything going on around me when I have pen and paper. As far as music, I have such an eclectic range of music, I have a genre for every mood.

My son. But he lives in an adult group home now. So i dont have his cute antics to make me smile and keep me motivated anymore. I need to find something new and inanimate. I dont want a pet or plants. I would like to try drawing again.

Being so close to the end of my bachelors degree

After the four agreements i found another book called "365 tao" and its ment to be read straight through but i dont do thst the chapters are words random words 365 of them i have for 10 yrs now picked 2-3 words at night at the end of my day that describes my day i read the short chapters and reflect on my day what the book says and be ok with my day. Good or bad this book makes me feel better before going to bed. Gives me hope and keeps me going. Gives great perspective on my day.
Ironicly it was a book called "the four agreements" i had my kindle read it to me every night for 4 yrs it takes about 2 hours to get through it but it kept me motivated i would read along with the voice so i retained the content better.

Honestly music and books. Music distracted me from the world and books helped me escape more.
TW i never really thought i would live past 18, ive never had friends and i had a terrible family situation, i met my now girlfriend in 2019 and shes my reason to live! finding people that understand you, i feel like its the only thing i need to keep going, specially because we are long distance, we met online, so im just constantly waiting until the next time we meet in person!! i believe there is someone out there for everyone, me and my gf we r both messed up, but being messed up together keeps me going a little bit!! š hope this helps
