my therapist and I work on chronological and logical/analytical thinking whenever I feel like this. your limbic system can take over and not allow you to think clearly so it’s important to slow yourself down.
i know exactly how your feeling some ways i help myself feel a little better especially at night is like podcasts or the tv on in the background so i feel less alone or a body pillow. during the day try to do little things to take care of yourself showering laundry small things.
Sometimes at night I have a really hard time feeling safe or I feel like I have nowhere go or nowhere to turn since it can be quite isolating.. what a therapist told me to do once was tell yourself you are safe but she said you might need more convincing so she said tell yourself all the reasons you are safe. I think it would be good to retrain your brain a bit? If you say they won’t leave me or abandon me when I need them- but don’t just tell yourself start listing the reasons. I hope this helps- I know it is easy to say I have a lot of trust issues and I will go into negative self talk and tell myself I am not enough- don’t give in and t Hopefully with time it may help
