Better control. I have an insulin pump and a constant glucose meter. I used to have to stick my finger 10 times a day or so and write down when I tested and what my sugar levels were. Plus how much insulin I took.

I’m on a health program that has helped me lower my a1c to 7.4 and still lowering! I’ve also been able to lose weight which is SO amazing (about 37 lbs so far, I’m still losing weight!)! If you’re interested in this program I’d be happy to chat with you about it soon! Just message me! :)

My A1c was really high until I got a cgm, now I can keep it around 6 much much easier.

It's not easy and takes a lot of work, but you can figure it out. I promise I'm not affiliated with them, but the podcast Juicebox Podcast is pretty damn good. I have been told to listen to it for a while and just checked it out. 28 years type 1 and I am learning still.

A cgm has helped me lower my a1c from 8 to 7.4 currently! More to go.

I just insulin injections and use a meter for my blood sugar checks. I think the key is to make sure you are doing the correct insulin dosages and regularly checking your sugars. The more you do that, the better you can get an estimate of how your diabetes is actually doing. I myself struggle with an A1C of 10 too
