I go through constant phases where I feel absolutely nothing but self-inflicted pain, whether it me physically or mental. What can I do to feel less numb?

I write poetry with legit paper and pencil or pen. If that isn’t working, I blast music with an awesome beat (If you want song suggestions, message me!) I’ll also look on Pinterest for drawings and try to replicate them. That doesn’t always go well because I’ll occasionally end up stabbing my arm or leg with the pencil but it is really helpful most of the time!

Aqua Zumba was amazing (until I developed hydrophobic tendencies) for numbness along with every other mental, emotional and physical issue I deal with! I seriously recommend it! Sometimes they will play the same song with the same moves every so often and I found solace in memorizing what to do

You could try dancing, running, or doing yoga. A lot of our trauma is somatic and held in our body. That’s what helped me to stop being numb. Could feel weird at first, but the energy shifts.
