I was sent to inpatient care on a volunteer basis 10 years ago at 18 and still feel the trauma that changed my life forever. It was our only option as all the outpatient doctors were booked for two months but I still don’t care. Does anyone still hate their family for putting them through the same thing? It just hurts it makes me so mad. It was so scary and I felt helpless. It also doesn’t help because those places treat you like you’re crazy when you’re not.
