Hello, i’ve been diagnosed with ptsd and anxiety and really been struggling lately. none of the medications i have been prescribed over the years have worked for me. i’m trying to look into other forms of treatments, EMDR or ketamine infusion therapy (although it’s quite expensive). does anyone have any experience with either of these? or other more holistic approaches, such as how to heal not just the mind and body but spirit as well? looking into eastern medicine i am wondering if i would find some answers there? thanks friends.

EMDR works with the right therapist! I haven't done it much as my memories are faint and painful to remember, but my therapist does it at my pace and has helped tremendously

Therapy also in a way save me too. I am grateful that I promise one of my love one that I would stay in therapy. I was told that everyone needs therapy. It's like having a close friend that you can talk to and she or he will not gossip and try to help you at the same time

i’ve heard good things about acupuncture. i tried a session once but that wasn’t enough to experience a ton of the benefits

Medication is not for everyone and that is completely ok. Therapy is something that honestly saved me. I hope you find something that works for you.

You are heading in the right direction. For me I focused on holistic approach with therapy.
