Hi.. I’m hoping to hear other people’s experiences with chronic anxiety, depression, and loneliness and how they try to help themselves. I’m the sole caretaker of a mentally handicapped sister who had a kidney transplant, single, and just worry nonstop about everything . Can’t sleep well at night and now my blood pressure is elevated.

      I suffer a lot from those symptoms too. I deal with my anxiety with exercising, for me, releasing a lot of that anxious energy in a productive way helps. Even cleaning and doing laundry lol For depression singing your favorite music or do some drawing or some fun hobby usually helps me. Even just feeling and acknowledging your depressed can help and just letting it happen as usually it’s just passing by due to the high amount of stress your feeling. As for loneliness, sometimes just hearing other peoples voices will help, I joined a singing app during lockdown because I had no friends and I was extremely lonely. So just hearing these people and singing with them made me feel less lonely and made me feel like I was apart of their duets. Before going to bed, try winding down with your favorite drink, listen to some music and try and relax and let your worries go for the moment.

      Your anxiety can lead to sleeping disorders and increase your blood pressure, so it's important to treat it. Have you tried treatment with medications like SSRI or benzo? I hope that treating your anxiety will really help your other problems.
