After he diagnosed me with POTS, my cardiologist said that I should get off of adderal because it’s a stimulant and could be making my heartbeat even faster. I can’t do that without dropping out of college. Any advice?

Have you thought about cannabis? I have pretty crippling ADHD and stimulants the non stimulants I've tried all make me sick, but a good sativa can kick my butt into focus mode without the massive drag on my body. If it's legal for you and doesn't mess with your heart and all that jazz.

Maybe also you can just be extra careful and take a low dose with alot of water to help with focusing in class and such. 🙏 good luck.

There are a couple other meds that are not stimulants you could try as well. I don't know your weight but because I w a s small we tried many non stimulants before I took adderall.
