Does anyone else get nauseous, almost morning sickness like symptoms when they wake up? including the repulsion to cooking bacon. It happens especially if I don't get enough quality sleep or if I wake up during the day, early morning and later afternoon is usually okay unless I didn't sleep well. I know im not actually pregnant and this has been happening since I was a teen and got drastically worse in high school when I was only regularly getting 4-6 hours of sleep (at night)

@swiftie12 It's not necessarily in the morning but it is specifically immediately after I wake up and can last for seemingly random periods of time. In high school it used to be hit or miss if I'd be out for the entire school day or only until like 10am so i was just missing school all the time

I have really bad morning sickness they said it was from Gerd but I was on medication and it didn't help with that.

@Kuro yeah I ruled that out too, it's strange.

I feel sick nearly every morning until I eat... if I can eat.
@veggiebean usually when I feel this way it gets worse and/or I end up vomiting so I ruled that out. I generally can't eat fit a few hours after I wake up

Not sure if this is helpful, but I’m also genuinely curious if others experience the same thing and possibly have a clear answer. This has been happening to me since I was a young kid. I’m 22 and I’m still not sure what it is exactly. Like you, it seems to be worse when I get little sleep. Up until a couple years ago, I assumed it was acid reflux/GERD, as I had been diagnosed as a child (and it still could be a factor). After doing my own experiments with food and sleep, I ruled GERD out as the main culprit. I’ve also noticed that it’s worse when I’m extra tired, which is also when I feel POTS like symptoms the most. I’m thinking the CFS causes my digestion to be delayed while asleep, and my blood pressure to change drastically enough when I wake up/sit up to make me nausea

@A.S.H I also have acid reflux and have since literal birth so that's a possibility. I also know I have weird and occasionally severe blood pressure fluctuations when I wake up from anesthesia for surgeries but I don't know if they looked for that during my sleep study.
@AnimalBoy (Update) I did my own experiments it's not acid reflux, maybe the blood pressure thing but that just brings up more questions. Initially when it first started as a middle schooler I was either on a high dose of adderall or had just recently switched to Ritalin so I thought it was my meds but I havent been on either in over 6 years and it's started up in full force, instead of occasionally, again recently.
