Hello! Glad to be here, I am honestly surprised and relieved so many ppl are in a very similar situation health wise. I've been experiencing concerning symptoms (to me at least 😅) for around a year including acid reflux, bloody stool, blood in vomit and throat pain (due to the stomach acid coming up), severe abdominal pain for so long it doesn't phase me anymore, etc. regarding my concussions as a kid I'm now experiencing symptoms of cte and yet i am just now able to see a neurologist at the end of the month. it has been very hard and expensive getting help with my health and I still feel like not much has changed or been figured out even. I am trying to find a reliable hospital because throughout my journey I've found hospitals seem to care more about my wallet then my health and I've felt very ignored and not heard. 😕
Are you getting any treatment for GERD? My doctor prescribed me Prevacid which helped with most of the symptoms. I got also antibiotics to treat the possibility of a bacterial infection in my stomach. Then I had an endoscopy exam which found nothing.
no, I have not. I honestly feel like I've subconsciously given up hope with doctors. I've been recommended a different hospital but I keep putting off making an appointment.
