My insomnia is so bad and my sleep schedule is so messed up. I have no idea how to fix it. I’ve tried sleeping pills but they don’t work. I’m also just not tired at night. :( any tips?

I totally understand I’m on day 3 no sleep I get like this when I have a lot on my plate and things I need to get done I’ve pretty much learned how to be so quiet not to wake my husband n daughter up So one night I put headphones in and listened to the guided meditation for anxiety on YouTube believe it or not it relaxed me or just listening to thunderstorms sounds

What helped me was a few things. First I tried not to sleep for 48 hours in order to try to arrange my sleeping hours. I didn't sleep for one whole night and then I deliberately didn't sleep the next morning so that I would be tired in the evening. In addition, what helped me was cleaning my bedroom of all kinds of distractions, for example, I took the TV and my phone out of the room, and that way when I go to sleep I go straight in and fall asleep because there are no distractions.
