What do you do when you lose the only thing you lived for and you're too tired to try to find a new reason?

@Laa pets are good company but they are a big responsibility and don’t fit everyone. You have to choose the dog breed carefully and it adds to bills. You have to make sure you have space. And you have to make a commitment and choose carefully bc there are a lot of pets desperate to find their family and shelters that have to end up killing them. And sometimes people find out they are allergic or something.

Get a dog is what helped me. Then get a second dog when that dog turns 6 or so, not too old to be annoyed by a puppy. Then, when dog 1 sadly passes, get dog 3 when dog 2 turns 6 or so.

I’m dealing with that same issue rn. It’s a new concept for me personally. I get rejected all the time but never from something so personally valuable to me on my journey. It is heartbreaking and soul crushing. I’m sure it would be to anyone. But from my understanding it happens to everyone. And we as individuals have a very narrow perceptive sometimes and forget that this is a very common human experience around the world that happens to everyone. I just keep trying everyday. Looking for resources available to me. That’s why I joined this app. And also I’m looking for professional help and to go only where I am welcome. I suggest to listen to your heart and let it tell you what you must do. And to never give up. Keep trying. Rn my heart is telling me to seek help from others and to socialize. To take a leap of faith and trust myself even if I’m flooded by noise from others. And not to advocate for toxic positivity, but try to focus on the good things in life and appreciate what you still have.
