Late ASD/ADHD Diagnosis and Childhood Trauma Connection

I got diagnosed with ADHD in 2020 and got my self-diagnosis of ASD confirmed with my doctor a few months ago. Looking back, these two things connect all the dots I couldn't figure out before, including all my anger and my inability to make friends.

Yes. Adhd. Mine are related to hyper sensitive outbursts, or moments where I froze up from emotional overwhelm.

I always got migraines when I went to the mall, never knew why but I was overstimulated!!

I was diagnosed with ADHD and something some countries consider a part of ASD but in Canada it's separate just so they can keep the philosophy that more males are autistic then females. My epiphanies happened a few months before I got tested when I was in grade 11. I was diagnosed in grade 12. I was still getting over my grandmother's death when I was in grade 10 and my anxiety was bad. I even peed in the dance classroom. My stimming even got more noticeable and I could barely eat.

I got diagnosed with ADHD this year being 20 years old. I was so confused because I was mostly doing well in school, but then I remembered my extreme hyperfixations, anger problems, and how I couldn't really fit in so it made sense.
