      For me, it helps to break up my attention into multiple people. Highlight the different things they bring to the table. At the end of the day then you can see your crush as another person who has/does things you enjoy, but feel less like they’re the only one who does.

      I think casual dating really helped me with this. Making an effort to go out with different people. And if you do end up continuing to see one person consistently, try to space out your hangouts so they’re not super frequent.

      I would say to definitely force yourself to have more than one close relationship. Multiple therapists help alot, in my situation. I have both my school and outside therapist, and my psychiatrist to help me.
