anyone else have sensory issues with your hair? I love my hair but I often find it really annoying me, especially when it's touching the back of my neck. I constantly am putting it up bc of sensory issues but then taking it down bc of it being too tight on my head any advise?

Honestly? A bandana helps me the most with that. That or it is thrown into a bun and I have lots of pins and clips for any parts bothering me. Usually it’s a loose bun but if I feel myself getting sensory overload or getting overwhelmed I immediately tie it all back to avoid that making a meltdown worse.

I also hate hair touching the back of my neck. I always keep it short. Sometimes I'll grow it longer with an undercut, but then I never do anything fun with it and I feel like it's not worth the effort to take care of it.

@feralsharkdog yeah I used to have an undercut but I ended up growing it out

Ugh, yes. Had short hair for years for this issue. I'm growing it out now, it's just reached past my shoulders. Perfect for winter but I'm dreading summer. Suffered earlier this year and it was fine when tied up. I'd recommend a loose bun and just suffering with the hair up hair down routine
