I’m really depressed and I can’t find a reason for getting up in the morning. Everything I try to do I don’t want to do it I just want to sit. Where’s this going to get me? I’m so lazy. I know I need more discipline. But everyday is like groundhogs day and I have to start all over w the same thing. I have a personal trainer so I have to go work out three days a week but I’m not very active outside of that

      @Harley.Q Awesome, let me know how it goes! It's an over the counter supplement, it's seriously like safer than vitamins, lol, so you don't need a prescription, you can just buy it on Amazon.

      OMG I was so lazy! Or at least I thought I was lazy. Turns out I was missing some dopamine, which regulates motivation and a feeling of reward when you do something, which keeps you going. There was a supplement called SAM-e that I started taking and it was amazing. Like I could do the dishes and it was no big deal. I didn't have to talk myself into it for days. It's a molecule that's in all living cells, it's important for methylation and for the dopamine system, as will as a bunch of other processes. Get a brand in a blister pack, doesn't matter which one as long as it's in a blister pack, and give it a try. It worked for my "laziness" but it didn't work for my husband or sister (they deal more with anxiety and depression), but it helped my husband's aunt, she said it was magical, she had so much motivation. Lol. So it seems like it helps specifically with motivation.

        @Heatherbee omg that's great I'm gonna talk to my Dr about that because I am a recovering addict and methamphetamine causes so much dopamine that ur body stops producing it!! I truly hope it helps me just like it has for u

      I know exactly what you mean I sit in my bed all day when I wake up and watch TV and try to get myself motivated to do something my main probs is motivation and back pain but I have main things I do everyday which is pick up after everyone making food in the kitchen which really bothers me I'm the only one who picks up after everyone and we have 2 cats so I clean out the litter box several times a day and try and make myself take our dog out for a walk to the mail box and back and I've been trying to get myself outside to play fetch with her and she's the best motivator I could ask for even if I'm just putting socks on she gets soooo excited.... so maybe getting a dog would help you like it does me but I also gotta say even with all the motivation she has I still gotta have motivation of my own.... and that's the hardest thing
