I'm currently on hydroxyzine and am looking to switch to a new anxiety med so I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for something that worked for them. I'm also on Zoloft and propanolol which I feel like have worked for me so far and I'd like to try and avoid a benzo but at this point I just wanna try something that works

I'm on Buspar. It helps. I keep the other one for as needed.

@Sammi0208 I use 150 mg of trazodone for sleep. I started out on 50 mg and eventually had to move up in mgs, but Im shocked both those together do not knock you out!!! Im glad it works for you though!!! 🙏

B12 and vitamin D deficiencies can cause depression and anxiety so I agree you should get your vitamin leveles checked. I am on 10 MG of lexapro and this with a healthy lifestyle and mindset has worked wonders for me

I've had terrible anxiety especially in the last year. I changed my approach to it. I was on Ativan 2 month's ago pain meds and others. It's like I woke up 1 day in March and thought none of these are really helping me. So I went off most everything. So what has helped me was finding things to do to de-stress. Planted veggies and herbs in containers outside. Started to walk. I am making new friends and started back to church. It has been 1 change at a time. So I've discovered that many of my attacks were allergy related. So I take benadryl. Epson salt baths help when it gets real bad. Also have them chk your vitd level, magnesium, potassium level that can make it worse. A cup of hot tea that helps to relax me.. Try new things you might find that something natural helps.Hope you feel better❤️
