I’m big on music, noise cancelling headphone/earbuds, and candy (something small like a sweet hard candy to focus on)

If it isn't a full panic attack, I take a hot shower, eat a carb heavy meal, and take a nap. Fulfill the basic needs in the hope that one of them is exacerbating it. If a panic attack has started, I use the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique. Basically pick 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, and so on with the senses (order doesn't matter so much, but saying everything out loud helps). Then drink some cool water to help. Cool water on the wrists may help too

This might not work for everyone, but I’ll go on YouTube and watch videos that are 1) silly and 2) dumb. I just try to control my breathing as best as I can and distract myself.
What I usually do is try to take deep breaths and just listen to music. Musics always been therapeutic to me. I hope this helps :)
I just cry it out until I've let all my emotions out, it works for me, so?
Having had it for so many years I have a sum collection of lil to big coping skills, one I just added was this anxiety nasal inhaler I got from Amazon called Serenity it's herbal and fairly cheap and besides the product itself sometimes just knowing I have it in union with my other tricks just helps a bit.
Using herbal teas/essential oils/ candles helps with my anxiety and depersonalization. My family used many different herbs and spice smells around our old house whenever i was little. The smells bring back calming memories for me.
I use mantras to ground myself when I'm feeling overwhelmed and anxious
@CoffeeAndDogs what is mantras
@vickielove It's a word or phrase that you repeat over and over. Something positive and affirming to your well being to help counter those anxious intrusive thoughts.
