@nanner hey. May I ask. What did you have removed? Just ovaries. Or just your uterus. I’m thinking of getting my uterus removed. But if your saying your still in pain. Makes me second guess that.

I just had a diagnostic laparoscopic surgery yesterday to see how bad mine has gotten I also had a partial hysterectomy in 2020 hot showers heating pads extra strength Tylenol and sometimes prescription pain killers lots of rest I read or play games on my phone to help block out the pain so I'm not thinking about it

Dumb question but what can they do the second time for surgery? I had laparoscopic surgery last year and have been in pain ever since.

@Ajr look into Nancy’s Nook, if you haven’t already you need an excision surgery! Ablation usually doesn’t help. If the second surgery is excision it’s totally worth it! If you have already had excision it doesn’t hurt to try again and make sure nothing was missed the first time

@kaykay29 so they inject Botox and a numbing agent into your pelvic floor to relax muscles! It makes PT a lot more beneficial. Which reminds me, I forgot to mention PT as something to help! Feel free to PM me if you want details, it feels a little graphic to put here

Honestly, surgery is the best option. But while you’re waiting for one, I like est, otc meds, medical marijuana, exercise, stretches, and lots and lots of rest. Medical marijuana is the best. If your pelvic floor is involved, which it often is, Botox injections are a good call too! Or just normal trigger points! Let me know if you have questions about any of that!
