Struggling with School and Health

your school can get in trouble with the federal government if they are not following your 504, as it is regulated and required by the ADA

Thank you everyone!! I’ve talked with my school about my health many times and they don’t seem to care except for a few teachers. I have a 504 plan but the principal and main office at my school gets so irritated with me, it’s annoying! If only they knew that I wish I could do these things just as much as they do. I want to be normal

I'm also a junior, and i think it would be helpful for you to get in touch with your guidance counselor and let them know whats going on. talk with your teachers as well, and see if theres any small changes you can make that will help.

I am a senior, and I just got a 504 plan. It's been great knowing that I have the support there and missing school won't set me up for failure
