So hypoparathyroidism is when you are either missing or have an underactive parathyroid gland. I suffer from not being able to absorb calcium and I also have very low calcium. When I am low I get seizures and I feel super tingly all over. Super spacey and many many other things that make it hard to function.
I’m new to the group, and have 5.7 ionized after many years managing your symptoms. My doc has me taking 1mcg of Calcitriol and 1000mg calcium and no longer have symptoms. Those numbers are astronomical but it has been working
