Came out to my mother and told her I have an appointment scheduled at the end of Jan to try and get HRT. I'm scared of the interrogation that I know is coming when I leave college for Christmas, are there any transmascs who've gone on T who can help me find ways to explain the changes that happen (negative and positive) because my anxiety continues getting in the way and I cannot find ways to articulate things...
I could help I've been on T for 7 months, but it's good to not let it turn into interrogation, I recommend hearing them out and letting them ask questions but if they get in a way you feel say, cut the conversation off nicely and just let them calm down before continuing explaining. That's what I had to do for my birth mother she was more concerned than angry
