That's narcissism and as a BPD sufferer, you don't need that in your life because that's probably how you developed BPD in the first place was from constant contact in childhood with a narcissist who is important to you.

  @Lin92 I think you may be right tbh. I’ve suspected for years that my mother may also suffer from BPD, and she did have narcissistic tendencies.
