      I often get itchy with heat but I still prefer it to cold anyway, I really hate being cold. Normally I won’t get too itchy with a heating pad only either, it’s hot baths that are bad for it, but I still take them with epsom or Dead Sea salt from time to time

      I usually alternate, 20 minutes each. Don’t know why, but it works for me.

      I can only do ice because I get hives with heat since I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome
