Hi I had Brest cancer know I am in remission for about 5 years but the anxiety that came with it is not going away and with the stop of tamoxifen the side effects are getting worse. I was wondering if there is anything that I could do about the anxiety with out medication because there are days that it’s really bad and I don’t want to do anything. Thank you

I have no direct experience with breast cancer, but I can't even pretend to imagine how hard and scary that must be. Would you be comfortable with some form of counseling? The website "cancer.net" has a page on counseling (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links here), explaining types (including online) and providing information on finding/paying for counseling. I'm not a professional, but maybe it's possible to "train your brain" as it were, to downshift back out of survival mode, or something, rather than using medication; I'm sure there are people who focus on less chemical methods of care. ❤️
