i take diazepam, but since it takes a while to kick in i usually take it as soon as i feel anxiety coming on.
I take buspirone and it helps me big time
Short answer: YES!!! They do work! I do have minor panic attacks every great once and a while, but they work like s gem ❤️❤️❤️!
I’m on Zoloft and it really has done wonders for me!!
This is a really hard question to answer because medication is such a personal thing. For me it's a combination of both Eastern and Western medicine. I'm on three different antidepressants at the moment and supplement it with meditation, yoga acupuncture and talk therapy
I take Zoloft, use to have daily panic attacks and really caused havoc in my every day life. It has been a game changer. 100 mg Zoloft and 0.5 Klonopin for any breakthrough anxiety
I used to take Lexapro and that really helped me when my anxiety was bad

Oh and I also like heating pads and earplugs. If you’re sensitive to sound you should wear earplugs all the time.
I use Prozac and hydroxyzine (high-drox-e-zene)
Propranolol has helped with my panic attacks, it doesn't prevent them but it does soften the symptoms related to them. It stops my shaking, increased heart rate, etc. I wish I knew a med that would help flat out, but I've had bad interactions with most meds. However, the first med I was on (escitalopram) stopped my anxiety attacks, just can't take it anymore due to genetic incompatibility 😅
@mashed_potato Didn't realize the tags until after 😅 or i just don't get the app yet. If you have okay insurance I would ask your doctor for a gene test to see what meds you're compatible with, id escitalopram didn't help with anxiety then maybe it's a gene issue. I have taken other meds that were suppose to help with anxiety but they didn't help much. But of course they may act differently for you! I know bupropion is well regarded if you also deal with depression. In my experience it's the only thing that made me feel "alive" in years but I stopped taking it due to it making my insomnia worse. But it might work differently for you! I've been researching it more and I'm thinking about going on it again if I can get something to help with sleep
